(EEJYCS) was established in 2007, as an extension and mobilizer of the community service efforts for approximately fifty (50) unincorporated graduate and undergraduate chapters within the 12th District of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. The 12th District of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. encompasses ten (10) states (Alaska, Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming), four (4) time zones, and over 1,300 financial members. Geographically, the 12th District covers the largest contiguous landmass of any District under the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. umbrella, occupying approximately 1.6 million square miles.
What We Do
Scholastic Support
at the collegiate level through financial scholarships, and funds for academic support and remediation as needed.
Youth Mentoring, Coaching & Development
to youth of all ages within the community through support and sponsorship of mentoring and community outreach efforts for our chapters through the district.
STEM/STEAM Education
to youth of all ages, through support of immersion and awareness educational activities targeting youth of color in under-served communities.
Healthcare Awareness
to at-risk, hard-to-reach communities through providing financial, volunteers, and administrative support of agencies, activities and events in health areas that disproportionately impact youth and communities of color.
EEJYCS Fund Purpose
Propose, advocate and support programs and activities related to the development of academic, professional and performance arts disciplines of the youth.
To sponsor and coordinate fundraising events and activities to fund programs in the academic, professional and performance arts disciplines.
To engage in educational activities which will provide relief for the poor, the distressed, the young, the aged, and the underprivileged.

Generate professional exposure of the membership to the broader community.

Who Is Dr. Ernest E. Just?
Ernest Everett Just (August 14, 1883 – October 27, 1941) was a pioneering African-American biologist, academic and science writer. Just graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. He went on to become a professor at Howard University in Washington, D.C. On November 17, 1911, Ernest Just and three Howard University students (Edgar Amos Love, Oscar James Cooper, and Frank Coleman), established the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity on the campus of Howard.
“LEARN NOW / LIVE LONGER”
Recognizing the need for increased AIDS/HIV/STI awareness and prevention in our communities, the EEJYCS has launched the “Learn Now / Live Longer” program with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF).
